Pet Policy

• Pet deposits or pet fees do not apply to qualified service or assistance animals.
• Pets are not permitted unless they are at least one-year-old.
• You must have a written pet agreement on file with management, and we have proof of a current rabies vaccination and a photo of your pet.
• A pet deposit of $200.00 and a non-refundable pet fee of $200.00 are due before move-in for each animal, with a maximum of 3 pets allowed.
• Pets are subject to a pet interview.
• The monthly pet rent is $20.00 for one animal and $10.00 for each additional animal, up to three animals.
• The following breeds and any mix of them are not permitted unless they are service animals: Pit Bull & all variations of the Pit Bill breed, Doberman, American Bulldog, Dalmatian, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Boxer, Husky, and Chow. Any “mixed” breeds, including any of the restricted breeds, are also prohibited. Management reserves the right to request veterinarian records specifying the breed.
• Pets must be kept on a leash and always attended to. A $100 fine will be assessed for the pet owner who does not keep their pet on a leash.
• A $100 fee will be assessed to the pet owner who does not immediately remove any waste left by the pet.
• Pets may not be left unattended on patios, balconies, amenities, or common areas at any time.
• All stipulations of the pet agreement will be strictly enforced.
• An animal may be removed if it poses a direct threat to others, or it causes substantial property damage, or it is not under control, and the handler does not take effective action.

Misrepresentation

Chandler Creek Apartments is committed to complying with the Fair Housing Act and all applicable state and local laws regarding service animals and assistance animals. We recognize the rights of individuals with disabilities to have equal access to housing accommodation.

Knowingly misrepresenting a pet as a service or assistance animal may violate state law and lease terms.
